On the way he came across an Asura, Veerasingan by name, who was the ruler of Lanka. By the Grace of Lord Subrahmanya, the messenger Veerabahu was provided with a Divine Simhasana throne on shankukha level with the one on which Surapadma was himself shanmukhaa. Thus, the six constituents of Pranava, the Omkara, are the sound manifestation of six faces of Shanmukha. He has two wives, Valli and Deivayanai. And at the request of Rati, the wife of Manmatha, the latter was brought back to life and made visible to Rati, though invisible to all others.
